Irwin Stockfeeds is a proud, family-owned business that started in the back streets of Richmond, Victoria and soon after, moved to our current location in North Melbourne.

Irwin Stockfeeds specialises in the manufacture of quality stockfeeds to the Dairy and Beef industries.

We offer a range of high performance ruminant feeds including grain, grain mixes, protein meals and pellets. Our products cater for seasonal variation – from high energy in Spring, to high protein in Summer.

Our products are made with the highest quality grains that are milled and blended to customer requirements. Our ingredients are sourced from Australia’s leading grain procurers and direct from growers, ensuring the highest quality products at the most competitive prices for our customers.

Irwin Stockfeeds is a FeedSafe Accredited Mill and a member of the Stockfeed Manufacturers Council of Australia (SFMCA) which sets us apart from competitors.

What is FeedSafe?

FeedSafe is a program aimed at increasing the commitment of the Australian stock feed industry to quality assurance and risk mitigation in the manufacture and use of animal feeds. FeedSafe requires feed manufacturers to meet minimum standards in relation to:

• Premises and mill buildings
• Personnel training and qualifications
• Plant and equipment
• Raw material sourcing and purchasing
• Raw material quality and storage
• Feed formulation and manufacturing
• Product labelling
• Loading, transport and delivery to clients
• Product inspection, sampling and testing
• Customer complaint investigation

Irwin Stockfeeds is an Accredited Operator under the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme – MASS Management and Fatigue Management modules.

We are also members of the following industry-related organisations: Grain Industry Association of Victoria (GIAV), Grain Trade Australia and the Victorian Transport Association.
